The Three Aspects of Love – Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Maitreya, Buddha of Loving Kindness and essential explanations of Buddha’s teachings on love with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab

3 Aspects of Love Weekend Retreat Below (or click here)

In the dedication prayers from the Yoga of Buddha Maitreya it says:

Through my meditating on the Three Aspects of Love,
May I always care for all living beings without exception,
Be free from outer and inner obstructing maras
And attain the state of the Buddha of Loving Kindness

The three aspects of love are affectionate love, cherishing love and wishing love.

Everyone needs this good heart of loving kindness because it solves all our problems and fulfils all of our wishes. Therefore, we are extremely fortunate in now having a rare opportunity to receive this special blessing empowerment.

Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab will give clear explanations on how to practically improve our good heart through engaging in regular practise of Buddha Maitreya self-generation according to instructions of the Ganden Oral Lineage, the very essence of Je Tsongkhapa’s tradition.

As a result we will find our life temporarily becoming more joyful and ultimately we can experience the permanent peace of mind called nirvana or full enlightenment. How wonderful! Everybody is welcome to join this special online event.

About

Buddha Maitreya is the manifestation of all the Buddha’s realization of loving kindness, who helps and guides us along the stages of the path to enlightenment. By relying upon Buddha Maitreya with faith we will receive this Buddha’s special care, and he will bestow upon us the Dharma realizations through which we can solve our own and others’ wishes, and ultimately accomplish the supreme happiness of enlightenment.

Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche has taught, “Loving kindness is the very essence of Kadam Dharma and a precious method to attain enlightenment. We will be born as Buddha through loving kindness for all living beings. In reality loving kindness gives you everything.

Through meditation and practicing the teachings in all our daily experiences, we can develop a deep wealth of loving kindness that functions as refuge for us and others. In these uncertain times, we can rely on the mind of loving kindness to protect and guide us, and to give us the ability to free all living beings from suffering.

As we practice loving kindness more and more, it will spontaneously become part of all of our actions. This mind will cause us to become a Buddha.

A blessing empowerment is an opportunity to make a connection with a Buddha, a great compassionate being working for the benefit of all living beings. During the ceremony we are guided through various meditations which give us permission to practise methods for transforming ourselves into a person who is always happy.

When we receive the blessing empowerment of Buddha Maitreya we receive instructions on training in common and uncommon paths, and we receive special blessings. To make these instructions effective we need to practise the yoga of Buddha Maitreya self-generation sadhana. This is a special practice for becoming close to Maitreya.
