Two & Half-day Urban Retreats

Enjoy a meaningful short break with two days of quiet guided retreat. Time for reflection and replenishing.  Come for the whole two and half days or less. Thurs and Friday will be more meditative with a short talk and guided meditation each session and on Saturday the two classes will give more detail and explanation on how to maintain your newly found peace of mind in your daily life.

Living Lightly

When we develop heavy feelings about life it is usually because we are tightly grasping at things, people and situations.  This gives us confusion and pain and even conflict with others. Learning to view things differently by understanding their impermanence helps us to live in a much lighter way.

Creating the Perfect Future

Although we are not aware of it, all our experiences in life are the effects of previous actions we ourself created. So if we wish for a better – or even perfect – future we need to learn mindfulness to make sure we create better -or perfect – actions.

In this course, we will learn how to use meditation to transform ourselves and use every moment of our lives to benefit ourselves and others.

Why does our mind become unhealthy? What is our mind anyway and how does it work? On this short retreat we will learn how to maintain mental peace and freedom from painful feelings throughout our daily life and yet be productive and engaging at work and with family and friends.

In this half-day urban retreat, we will learn the basics of meditation combined with ways to observe and change our habits of thinking when we are not meditating. In this way, every moment of our life can become an opportunity to become masters of our destiny, instead of victims of our environment and circumstances.
