Living Lightly: A Day of Meditating on Ultimate Truth

March 30 | 2019

There are three reasons why we need to study and practise Buddha’s teachings:

  • to develop our wisdom
  • to cultivate a good heart
  • to develop and maintain a peaceful state of mind

In this course, we will focus on the first of these, how to develop our wisdom. If we make no effort to do this, we shall always remain ignorant of ultimate truth, the true nature of reality. Although we wish for happiness, our ignorance leads us to engage in non-virtuous actions, which are the main cause of all our suffering.

Creating the Perfect Future

May 25 | 2019

Buddhism teaches us to take responsibility for ourselves, our actions, and the consequences of our actions.

Through the practice of meditation we can follow the same path of inner transformation that Buddha followed, eventually attaining lasting inner peace and real power to benefit other living beings. What could be more perfect than that?

In this course, we will learn how to use meditation to transform ourselves and use every moment of our lives to benefit ourselves and others.
