The Pure Land of Lamrim – Meditation Retreat

This is a one- week retreat on the entire Stages of the Path to Enlightenment, each session guided by Resident Teacher, Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab.

Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, our Founder, has explained that fortunate meditators can integrate all their everyday experiences into their spiritual path. With the views and insights gained from Lamrim meditation these fortunate people can experience our world as a Pure Land where everything is wonderful and blissful, smooth and comfortable.

On this retreat each day we will explore four meditations from Venerable Geshe la’s book How to Understand the Mind in the section called Meditation, and recite Prayers for Meditation. Before this Gen-la Khyenrab will explain the particular meditation for that session and after the prayers he will guide us to the object. The aim is to control our mind and gain deeper and deeper levels of inner peace. Everybody, Buddhist or non-Buddhist, can benefit from these meditations because Kadam Dharma accords with people’s everyday experiences.
