About the Course

Our mind’s true nature is like a clear sky, but so often it’s clouded by our busy, uncontrolled and sometimes negative thoughts. Learn how you can experience the inner peace and joy of a clear mind through simple meditations from the Buddhist tradition in this half-day Urban Retreat. Everyone is welcome!

About the Teacher

Sandra Lewis is a student on the Teacher Training Program and has been practising Kadampa Buddhism for several years. She is known for her inspiring and kind-hearted approach to teaching Buddhism and meditation and is a dedicated volunteer at the Centre.

Sandra teaches the Thursday Morning class as well as the Etobicoke class, and other branch classes.

Course Schedule

The course will consist of three sessions and two breaks. Each session will include guided meditation and a talk. There will also be a chance to ask questions.
