30-MINUTES TO INNER PEACE

Take half an hour at lunchtime to relax, refresh & de-stress. Cultivate inner peace through a guided practice and enjoy the rest of your day with an inspired and positive mind. With regular practice these meditations help us to experience mental clarity, a sense of well-being, and increased love and compassion for others.

    Classes start with a 10-minute breathing meditation, designed to settle the mind and let go of distractions, in order to get the most out of the session.

Q) Do I have to be Buddhist to attend?

A) No. We try to present Buddha’s teachings in a way that is accessible to everyone, and no religious obligation is required.

Q) Do I need to have any experience?

A) No. If you are new to meditation, this is the perfect place to start. The classes are fully guided so all you need to do is show up.

Q) How should I dress?

A) No special clothing is required, come as you are.

Q) Is there any physical exercise involved?

A) No. The class focuses on meditation and teachings alone. You can choose to sit on a chair or meditation cushion and the whole session will be guided.

Q) Why do you charge for classes?

A) We are a registered charity (Charity # 861356970 RR0001) run entirely by volunteers, no-one receives a salary. However, the funds we receive are used to maintain the Temple in good working order – any surplus is donated to the charity International Temples Project.
